The Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) recognises the importance of Human T cell lymphotropic virus and its detrimental impact in patient`s health. In line with the inclusion of HTLV-1 in the WHO`s Global health sector strategies 2022-2030, and the increasing interest of its Members States, PAHO has been supporting the response to HTLV-1 in the region.
PAHO secretariat has developed a questionnaire to better understand the current scenario of the public health response to HTLV-1.
